To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fair experience for everyone at PowerPlay, all players and visitors are required to read and comply with the following House Rules. These rules apply to all courts, the lounge area, parking, and all other parts of the facility.
1. Bookings & Court Access
Court access is available to customers with a confirmed reservation. Bookings may be made through the following channels:
- Online booking platform (website)
- Facebook Messenger via the official PowerPlay Facebook Page
- Walk-in — walk-ins are welcome, but customers must call or message PowerPlay first to confirm court availability before coming to the facility. Walk-ins without prior confirmation are not guaranteed a court.
Your booking reference code (or Messenger confirmation) must be presented to staff upon arrival or when requested. Full payment is required to confirm any booking.
2. Late Arrival
Late arrivals do not extend the reserved playing time. The booking shall end at the originally scheduled time regardless of the player's actual arrival time. This policy ensures that the next reservation in the schedule is not delayed and is treated with courtesy.
3. Failure to Vacate Court
Players must vacate the court promptly at the end of their booked time slot. PowerPlay reserves the right to remove players who remain on the court after their booking has expired. Additional fees may be charged if the delay affects succeeding reservations.
4. Reservation Transfer
Confirmed bookings are non-transferable without prior approval from PowerPlay. Customers may not give, sell, or reassign their reserved slot to another person without first obtaining approval from PowerPlay staff.
5. Footwear & Attire
- Only clean, non-marking athletic or court shoes are permitted on all playing surfaces.
- Footwear worn outdoors must not be used directly on the court without cleaning.
- Sandals, slippers (tsinelas), and bare feet are strictly prohibited on court.
- Players are encouraged to wear appropriate sports attire.
6. Court Conduct
- Players must respect the court boundaries of adjacent courts during active play.
- Excessive noise, shouting, or behavior that disturbs other players is not allowed.
- Equipment (rackets, shuttlecocks, pickleballs) must be handled with care. Deliberate damage will be charged to the responsible party.
- Disputes between players must be settled respectfully. Staff decisions are final.
- Mobile phones must be set to silent during active play as a courtesy to others.
7. Food & Beverages
- Food and beverages are not allowed on the court surface.
- Drinks (in sealed, non-glass containers) are permitted courtside but must not be left on or near the playing area.
- PowerPlay offers beverages, including alcoholic drinks, in the lounge area. These may not be brought onto the courts.
- Outside food and beverages may be consumed in the lounge area.
8. Power Interruptions
PowerPlay is an indoor facility. In the event of an unexpected power interruption during a session, the following applies:
- If the power interruption exceeds thirty (30) minutes, PowerPlay will offer the affected customer a booking credit or a rescheduled session equivalent to the unused time.
- Power interruptions of thirty (30) minutes or less do not qualify for a credit or refund, as play may reasonably resume.
- Any credit or reschedule offered due to a power interruption will not affect or displace succeeding reservations.
